Cut once, measure twice …

So in the midst of Ben’s moving house, I sat down to cut the green felted bag into a smaller one. In my usual habit of advanced preparation, I didn’t have a tape measure or a ruler or anything - just my scissors …

So I cut it crookedly - the two sides are uneven, and the two halves make something decidedly smaller than I wanted. : (

Oh well - I love the pink ribbon I bought to disguise the seaming scar, and I am enjoying thinking about what I am going to do about handles.

Also - I look forward to one day learning from my mistakes.

In other news, I have located a few sources for guava jelly. Exotic Jams, and an unnamed page that doesn’t seem tohave a location. This is to make those lovely looking bikkies. More news, as it happens.
