Overcommitted and undermotivated - but one day I will finish things.

Hi Kate, Thanks for the comment on my flowers! Yes, the queen anne’s lace that I remember growing up was in the ditches of the country roads, not in the gardens! I don’t know how this one popped up but I’m not going to let it go to seed or I may drown in it! Happy day, wherever you are!

Hi Kate,
Thanks for the kind words on my cushions. I’m looking forward to the party preps. My eldest daughter is turning 7 and she’s having a Rockstar Party at home. Lots of musical based activities and some pet rock making. I think all of the adults are looking forward to greeting unsuspecting parents at the door wearing wild and crazy afro wigs! ^_^

Hi Kate,

Thanks for commenting on mine and Tzarina’s dyeing adventures. I didn’t write about it on my blog, but you may be interested in exactly how we did our handpainting, the technique we used keeps the colors fairly well seperated, not as well as the mason jars, but then that is what gives you the hand painted look, right? Anyway, if you are interested, email me.

Hello! I stumbled upon your blog and I have a favor to ask … I’m an art student working on my thesis project, which is diy & fibers based, and we have been asked to present a slide show of our inspirations, or people that are doing things we like. I love love love the embroidery on your pink bags and I wondered if I could show pictures of them in my presentation, and if I could have your name so that I may credit you? Either way, keep up the sweet work, and thanks in advance!
