Out of the gloom, some fabric appears

After a very long winter of doing not much crafty, and a lot worky, I have had a bit of a spring clean of the craft room and been inspired to make. Some of the gorgeous string quilts around the blogosphere and around flickr are just too delectable to not want one of your own!

The whole quilt will not be red based as I think it might be a tad too red for having on a bed. More news as I progress!
